Save the Historic Most Holy Redeemer Church!

Village Preservation, LESPI, and the EVCC are working with parishioners to preserve the Most Holy Redeemer Church, located at 173 E 3rd Street. Built for German immigrants in the 1840s, the church was once the largest in the city and one of its tallest structures. We have called on the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission to landmark the church, rectory, and school to ensure they are preserved.

To learn more about the history of this church and what you can do to help save it, check out the petition!
