Please join the Loisaida Center in honoring the life and legacy of Carlos “Chino” García, a beloved LES/East Village community activist, through an afternoon of poetry, film, dialogue and live music. This is the 3rd annual edition of their Cultura Pa’lante program. See event programming below:

4:20pm – 5:00pm: Panel Discussion, “Rooted in Resistance: The Future of Community Organizing in Loisaida”
5:00pm – 6:00pm: Daso y El Grupo Cemí & Los Chachos at Panchos Garden (live music)
